Federation Regatta

Spent the day at the Federation Regatta hosted by Greenock MBC on Sunday June 11th.  Arrived about 11am with the Treasurer of Glasgow Richmond MBC where we were swiftly guided into our parking space by the Greenock clubs junior members dawning high-viz vests and walkie  talkies.   As we unpacked our boats (in my case my T34 tank) and headed up to the show it became apparent that the Greenock boys (n lassies) had gone all out to put on a show for everyone to remember.  At first we were presented with a row of gazebos at one end of the clubhouse and then another row of at the other end.  The static display had a mix of boats with one tank thrown in.  On the water there was the usual mix of free sailing and competitions to keep everyone entertained.

A slight deviation from most other Greenock shows was the distinct lack of a sinking ship unlike in previous years as this video shows:

All I can say is well done Greenock.  You done a good job taking on the responsibility of hosting the Federation Regatta
