Member Raises £1,664.18 for Prostate Cancer Research

A serving member of GSSMS help raise over £1600 during Movember. Club Secretary went full on with the challenge by not shaving or trimming his delightful hairy top lip for the full month. Members were astonished to see the vibrant Ginger mov not thinking that the old guy may have had Ginger hair in his youth – not now though. The fund raising culminated in a number of nurses bidding for the privilege of shaving the tash off on the 30th. When asked if he was saddened by the loss club secretary said “not on you life”…”most uncomfortable thing I have done in my life”. Can’t wait to do it all over again next year…….!
